Car donation
Could there be a more appropriate way to support the bicycling movement than by giving up an unneeded car? Here’s your chance! You can donate your car to the California Bicycle Coalition—and qualify for a tax write-off—simply by filling out a donation form (PDF) and faxing it to Car Program LLC. Or you can call (800) 513-6560 24 hours a day to contact the Car Donation Program directly. They’ll make arrangements to pick up your vehicle within 4 days and tow it away.
Stock, bonds and real estate
You or your company can make a significant gift to the CBC by donating stock, stock options, bonds, real estate and other investments in one simple transaction. A gift of stock owned for more than one year entitles you to a charitable deduction for the full market value at the time the gift is made.
